The PLA’s recent combat training activities are aimed at the security situation in the Taiwan Strait and the necessary actions to maintain national sovereignty, and are aimed at the "Taiwan independence" split. The forces and their separatist actions are aimed at the interference of external forces, not at the Taiwan compatriots.
She pointed out that the root cause of the current complex and severe situation across the Taiwan Strait is that the DPP authorities have linked up with external forces and continuously resorted to "Taiwan independence" separatist and provocative actions. This has seriously damaged the vital interests of compatriots on both sides of the strait and the fundamental interests of the Chinese nation, and seriously undermined peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.
The mainland is willing to create vast space for peaceful reunification, but it will never leave any space for various forms of "Taiwan independence" activities.
