Sharjah municipality vacates 185 bachelors' homes
Sharjah City Municipality, in cooperation with the Sharjah Police General Command and the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, carried out a campaign to evacuate the Qadisiyah area of singles, workers and violators, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and evacuated 185 homes of bachelors and workers, Being designated areas for families and families.
In detail, the director general of the municipality, Thabet Al-Tarifi, affirmed that the municipality is keen to implement the visions and directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and continues its campaign to notify violators of eviction and cutting off services for residences where there are violations, indicating that more than 1514 inspection campaigns have been organized since the beginning of the campaign. During this period, more than 3,936 workers, bachelors, and violators were evacuated from 185 houses that were completely evacuated, and 161 violating residential units were closed, and owners and direct tenants were violated after they received notices to report to the municipality, due to their violation of the conditions of the housing system, and sub-renting housing in violation of laws and regulations.
He explained that housing singles and workers in areas not designated for them poses a direct threat to the families that reside in that area, and they are also in violation of the emirate’s housing system, in addition to the fact that these groups live in violation of the requirements, preventive measures and health controls, as there are more than one room in one room. Absorption in a way that does not achieve the principle of social distancing, pointing out that the municipality immediately cut off services to 79 homes after monitoring many violations by its residents, which include irregular engineering divisions and random electrical connections, and it also delivered 169 notices to cut off services to other homes.

For its part, the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority announced the provision of qualified and specialized work cadres to carry out their role in that region in order to implement the visions and directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and to provide the necessary support to the municipality and the police, especially in the area of cutting services to housing in violation, which includes many violations. And contribute to the evacuation of the area from the violators.
