Invited Wednesday from Europe 1, Stanislas Gaudon, national secretary of the Alliance police union, was able to react to this information.

The police officer's condition "is serious", he confirmed.

And this tragedy, he continues, is "added to the long list of our colleagues who have been attacked or struck by a vehicle".

And Stanislas Gaudon to recall in particular "the dramatic events of this summer", with for example the death of a policeman in Le Mans, killed by a driver during an intervention.

"The police, they also suffer this, the attacks in order with vehicles where people do not respond to the orders of the police or try to flee", regrets the police unionist.
