A tightening of the general guidelines means that the Swedish Public Health Agency, in consultation with infection control physicians, can make decisions on measures such as refraining from restaurants or shopping centers in certain regions.

Disturbing development
On Tuesday, the region announced that the spread of infection continues to increase in Örebro County.
- We have a worrying development with an increased number of cases. Now, however, there are many other strategies compared to this spring. We have a broad and general testing, accurate infection tracking and also rules of conduct for household contacts in our region that apply from 7 October. The general guidelines also continue to apply as before.
