Women and old people
To each his target.
While Donald Trump tries to convince suburban women to vote for him in a rather unsubtle way ("suburban women, please love me"), Joe Biden tries to seduce the elderly.
They seem to like Donald Trump less in the latest polls.

In question ?
Its management of the coronavirus epidemic which has killed more than 215,000 people in the United States (the nation most bereaved in the world by the virus) and whose victims are often elderly.
Not to mention that the US president keeps calling Joe Biden, 77, "senile" and "asleep".
Not enough to win the prize for the biggest fan of grandpas and grandmothers.
On the women's side, Joe Biden is well ahead in the polls (more than 18 points ahead of his rival), forcing Donald Trump to play it all in his meetings.
In 2016, contrary to what the numbers predicted, the majority of women voted for him.
Be careful, therefore.

This is the new super PAC (Political Action Committee) of the moment:
Not our Faith
("Not our faith").
Christian Republican and Democrats created an interest group to campaign against Donald Trump, specifically targeting white evangelicals and Catholics, who helped the US president win in 2016.
The super PAC plans to launch campaign spots soon in which they accuse Donald Trump of using Christians to be elected, hypocritically, according to them.
"Mr. President, the days when you used our faith to achieve your ends are over," launches the clip.

For his part, Joe Biden is emphasizing his Catholic faith more and more in his campaign spots, to appeal to both white voters in the Midwest and Latin Americans.
Two caveats, however.
Can her position in favor of abortion - which the Catholic Church condemns - be fatal to her?
Not if we are to believe the polls which estimate that the majority of American Catholics agree with him on this subject.
On the other hand, the Democrats' repeated attacks on the religious convictions of the new Supreme Court justice Amy Coney Barrett, could be blamed.
Especially since the Republicans and Donald Trump are trying to present the "blues" (Democrats) as anti-Catholics.

Suspense at the Supreme Court
No answer.
The conservative judge appointed to the Supreme Court by Donald Trump did not want to commit to recusing herself if the results of the US presidential election were challenged before the highest court.
Despite repeated questions from Democrats during confirmation hearings before the Senate, the magistrate kicked in touch.
We remember that in 2000, when Democratic candidate Al Gore challenged the results of the presidential election in Florida, the Supreme Court had to rule.
Today, and with the new judge Barrett, the highest American court of justice has five conservative judges, including three appointed by… Donald Trump in person.
Remember that Donald Trump has repeatedly refused to commit to accepting the results of the November 3 ballot ... The hearing before the Senate of Amy Coney Barrett is to continue on Wednesday.
