"According to the regional forestry dispatching services, over the past day, October 14, 32 forest fires were liquidated in Russia on an area of 162 hectares," RIA Novosti reports.
It is noted that by 00:00 Thursday, October 15, there were 12 fires in Russia on an area of 498 hectares, on which work was carried out to actively extinguish.
