"The skin of the heifer who was going to give birth was lying on the ground, the severed head placed on it, the four legs also severed, the belly intact with the calf remained in its envelope," he detailed in the regional daily.
The culprits also allegedly took 250 kg of meat from the animal.
The breeder lodged a complaint with the Thiaucourt gendarmerie.
