Big fear this Wednesday morning for college students.

Their school bus finished its race in a ditch a little before 9 a.m. in Sainte-Colombe, in the direction of Hagetmau, in the Landes.

Five young people were slightly injured and two of them, aged 11 and 13, were transported to the Layné hospital center in Mont-de-Marsan for abdominal and cervical pain.

Their comrades were all transported to a college in Hagetmau for examination in the morning before their parents picked them up.

An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of this accident.

But the school bus would have crossed a heavy truck on this small road before "going to bed at low speed in a bend", according to the firefighters.
