The Traffic and Patrols Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police has launched an initiative to distribute stickers on vehicles at security points at the entrances to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, with the aim of educating drivers on traffic on a number of axes aimed at enhancing traffic safety.

She mentioned that the posters to facilitate traffic at security points, and also contain a "barcode" from inside the vehicle, which is scanned by the mobile phone camera, and turns into an educational video urging drivers to adhere to them in order to preserve their safety and their companions.

Awareness topics included the importance of respecting pedestrian crossing, leaving an adequate safety distance between vehicles, not passing the red light, not sitting children under 10 years old in the front seats, and adhering to the prescribed speeds.
