Mutual cooperation

Under the principles set forth in the "Artemis Agreement";

Signatory states agree on peaceful goals in conducting all their space activities.

In response to the requirements of this agreement;

The signatory states seek mutual cooperation in space operations, ensure the provision of assistance in case of emergency, register space objects to avoid harmful interference, and publish scientific data.

In addition, the signatory states agree to extract and use space resources in accordance with the Outer Space Treaty, and to provide general information about the location of those resources and the nature of operations, while also taking care not to conflict when needed, and to reduce orbital waste.

Since its establishment in 2014, the UAE Space Agency has succeeded in concluding agreements and memoranda of understanding and entering into partnerships that establish strategic relations with more than 25 space agencies around the world.
