  Sihanoukville International Airport is a civilian airport located 20 kilometers east of Sihanoukville, the capital of Sihanoukville Province, Cambodia’s largest seaport. It is also behind Phnom Penh International Airport and Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport. The third international airport.

  Before the renovation, the airport had a total of 1 terminal and 1 runway.

The length of the runway is 2500 meters, the width is 34 meters, and there are 5 parking spaces.

The State Secretariat of Civil Aviation of Cambodia approved the overall plan for Sihanoukville Airport in September last year.

The master plan proposes the expansion of airport infrastructure to accommodate the growth of passenger and cargo traffic in the next 20 years.

  After the expansion, the runway of Sihanoukville International Airport will be extended from 2500 meters to 3300 meters. With the completion of the project, Sihanoukville Airport will be able to take off and land wide-body aircraft and long-distance aircraft.

According to the overall plan, the expansion project is divided into multiple stages.

The first phase will expand the airport's passenger capacity to 3.6 million passengers per year, and the next phase will expand to 10 million passengers per year.

  According to reports, Sihanoukville International Airport is mainly engaged in the domestic, regional and international scheduled passenger and cargo transportation business in Cambodia, including seasonal charter flights. It is operated by Cambodia Sky Angkor Air, Cambodia Bayon Air, Lucky Air and Apsara International Airlines. Provide flight services to Siem Reap, Seoul, Phnom Penh, Kunming, Singapore and Hangzhou.
