“It is known that individual states, primarily the North Atlantic Alliance, including the United States of America, are trying to persistently limit our activities in the Arctic.
The methods used here are very different: from increasing military activity near our borders to sanctions pressure, ”he said.
According to him, all this creates direct threats to "our national security."
In August, Medvedev headed the Security Council commission to ensure Russia's interests in the Arctic.
