One of the three suspects of the attack on two police officers on October 7 in Herblay (Val-d'Oise), was indicted on Tuesday for "attempted murder of persons in public authority", indicated to AFP his lawyer Me Joseph Cohen-Sabban.

He was brought before an examining magistrate during the day.

After ninety-six hours of police custody, this 28-year-old man was also indicted for "possession of a weapon in a meeting", added his lawyer, specifying that his client was still to be presented to a judge of freedoms and detention to rule on the request for provisional detention required by the prosecution.

The two investigators from the judicial police are still hospitalized.

The state of health of the sergeant, the most seriously injured, remained stable on Tuesday.

The other two suspects are still wanted.
