On Friday evening, shortly after 11 pm, a woman was shot in the leg inside the apartment buildings in Arvidstorp in Falkenberg municipality.

On Monday morning, the police had no suspects yet, but say that several tracks have been secured.

These are several sleeves, which have been sent to NFC, the National Forensic Center, for analysis.

Several fittings

The hope is to be able to secure DNA traces and that a technician with ballistics, the

doctrine of the movement of uncontrolled projectiles,

as an expert, will investigate whether previous sleeves received by the NFC have been fired from the weapon used.

The police also say that they have made additional technical seizures that are now being compiled, but the police do not want to comment on the type of seizures.

Witness information to the police testifies that it is a male perpetrator who was holding a bouquet of flowers at the incident.

- He held a bouquet of flowers for his face.

The flower bouquet was there to mask the face, says Christer Bartholdsson, local police area manager in Falkenberg.

Continues to knock on the door

Pending a response from the NFC, the investigation continues locally, the door knocking that took place over the weekend has not yet resulted in any major progress.

- We are knocking on doors, it is not complete yet.

There are two purposes for us to perform it, witness statements but also contact making, that you get the opportunity to meet and talk to a police officer.

We have not received so much, and what we have received I do not want to go out, says Christer Bartholdsson.

Now the police are appealing that people who have been to Arvidstorp on Friday night and observed something that may be of interest get in touch.

- What is most interesting is if you have seen a running man shortly after 11 pm, says Christer Bartholdsson, local police area manager in Falkenberg.
