His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, during a phone call, discussed bilateral relations in light of the existing strategic partnership between the two friendly countries, and ways to strengthen this partnership and push it forward for the benefit His Highness also received a phone call from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, where His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed affirmed that the UAE is keen to make all efforts to achieve peace, stability and development that is in the interest of all without exception.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed discussed, during the phone call with Putin, developments in the Middle East and Caucasus regions, and the efforts made to contain and settle tensions and conflicts in them, as well as many regional and international issues of common concern.
The two sides also discussed the developments of the Corona pandemic in the two countries and the world and ways to support and strengthen cooperation between them in addressing the pandemic and containing its repercussions on the health, humanitarian, economic and other levels, especially cooperation in developing a vaccine against the Corona virus between Russia and the UAE.

They greatly appreciated the important role played by the United States of America and President Donald Trump in reaching the peace treaty between the two countries.
