Winner of his thirteenth Roland-Garros on Sunday, Spaniard Rafael Nadal remains the runner-up to his victim in the final, Serbian Novak Djokovic, still solid world number one, in the ATP ranking published on Monday.

Holding the title of the French Grand Slam lifting, Nadal retains the same number of points, while Djokovic, beaten last year in the semi-final in Paris, increases his lead with his qualification for the final of the 2020 edition.

The Serbian now has 1,890 units better than his great rival, holder of 20 Grand Slam tournaments like the Swiss Roger Federer.

The latter, absent from the courts until 2021, remains 4th, behind the Austrian Dominic Thiem.

Semi-finalist in Paris, the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas gains a place, in 5th place, at the expense of the Russian Daniil Medvedev, and regains his best career ranking, already achieved last year.

The greatest progression in the Top 20 is due to the Argentinian Diego Schwartzman, also eliminated in the last four at Porte d'Auteuil.

The 28-year-old reaches the best ranking of his career, 8th in the world, thanks to a progression of six places.

On the side of the French players, Gaël Monfils, the No. 1 tricolor, fell two ranks, to 11th place, following his elimination in the first round.

Among the 300 world leaders, the young Toulouse-born Hugo Gaston signs the best progression, tied with the American Sebastian Korda, with a gain of 82 places following his very good run at Roland-Garros, completed in an eighth-final lost to in Thiem.

The 20-year-old southpaw is 157th, his best ranking so far.
