It was on Thursday that a woman in her 30s came into the emergency room at Kullberska Hospital in Katrineholm with serious injuries.
According to the police, the incident occurred in a parking lot in Katrineholm.
According to the prosecutor, the man used a knife to injure the woman.
- She has had a relationship with this man and we believe that the motive can be found in it, says Tigerstrand.
In the parking lot, the man must also have threatened a person who witnessed the incident and therefore he is also suspected of illegal threats.
- The woman has been allowed to leave the hospital, he says.
"We are looking intensively"
The arrest hearing was held on Friday and the court decided that the man should be arrested in his absence on probable cause on suspicion of attempted murder and unlawful threats.
- We are intensively looking for him in different places but so far we have not found him, he says.
Wanted internationally
The man is also internationally wanted as it is not ruled out that he may have left the country.
- He is wanted in both Sweden and internationally and if he tries to get out of the country, I hope he gets stuck in a checkpoint, says Tigerstrand.
