A new type of disassembly and assembly self-powered thermal insulation shelter settled in the plateau border

provides reliable guarantee for troops on duty patrols, scientific and safe winter

Our reporter Sun Xingwei and correspondent Zhao Yan reported: A few days ago, a new type of dismountable self-powered heat preservation method consisting of 7 modules including dormitories, canteens, integrated toilets, dry self-cleaning toilets, warehouses, microgrids, and heating equipment. The cabin is officially settled in the plateau border troops of our army.

The person in charge of the relevant department of the Logistics Support Department of the Central Military Commission stated that the new type of disassembled self-powered thermal insulation shelters are mainly used for plateau, alpine, and island border and coastal defense forces, as well as for training and temporary deployment of troops to support military readiness in extreme weather conditions. Training operations provide reliable guarantees for troops on duty patrols, scientific and safe winterization, and explore new models of rapid deployment of troops in large-scale field camps under extreme weather conditions.

The thermal insulation shelter was developed by the Army Engineering University. It focuses on mission needs. It can be built and used immediately, reducing the dependence on long-distance fuel distribution in the rear. It is convenient to install, simple in construction, and does not require large machinery. It can be installed normally in areas without water and electricity. It can be disassembled and installed, and the space can be changed; more than 90% of the components can be reused, with integrated design features such as "building, structure, energy, and equipment", and excellent thermal insulation performance; integrated photovoltaic micro-grid to achieve self-sufficiency in energy.

It is reported that the thermal shelter combines the technical advantages of disassembly structure, ultra-low energy consumption, renewable energy combined heat and power and passive solar house, and adopts integrated steel tenon structure, sandwich polyurethane thermal insulation composite board, and "wind and solar fuel storage" Multi-source micro-grid, biodegradable tanks and other components, especially the "passive solar house combined with active solar heat collection" method is adopted for indoor heating. Under the outdoor condition of minus 40 degrees Celsius, the indoor can still guarantee a higher than 15 Celsius; in case of long-term rain and snow, diesel heaters can also be used for emergency heating.
