Today the meeting with the scientific committee, tomorrow evening the control room with the Regions and local authorities and on Tuesday the Prime Minister's decree with the new anti-contagion restrictions from Covid 19. It is the timing that the government sets itself for the approval of the measures that should come into force on Thursday.

What currently emerges from today's summit, which brought together the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, and the Technical Scientific Committee at the Civil Protection headquarters, is that the quarantine drops to 10 days and only one swab will be needed for positives. Exit.

Also today, a circular from the government on the obligation to wear masks outdoors which then forced the Interior Ministry to make a clarification.

It is a must for walking, not for jogging

.

Although the measures are still to be filed, the executive is oriented to impose a 'squeeze' on private parties and nightlife, introducing the obligation of a maximum of thirty participants in ceremonies and meetings, the prohibition of gathering in front of bars and restaurants from 21 and the early closure of all the clubs at 24. Stop even amateur sports that involve contact, such as soccer.

The limitation to attendance at conferences and public events indoors (maximum one thousand people outdoors, if allowed by the conditions) should be confirmed with a possible derogation for some theaters (such as La Scala in Milan, the San Carlo in Naples, with percentage of capacity compared to the already indicated number of maximum 200 spectators).

The government would then be evaluating the hypothesis of encouraging, bringing it to 70%, the use of smart working for the public administration, and to insist with a campaign of strong recommendation in favor of the use of masks for non-cohabitants, even indoors houses.

The government rules out new general lockdowns, like in March.

"I want to say clearly,

Italy cannot afford a new lockdown

, the economic and commercial system cannot afford it," explained Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio.

"There is no hypothesis of restrictive measures for schools"

, then guaranteed, for his part, the Minister of Education, Lucia Azzolina.

"The government is also evaluating the use of rapid tests for schools, as I have been asking for some time."

Speranza left the Civil Protection headquarters in the late afternoon.

The meeting of the technical-scientific committee, on the other hand, continued.

Italy has been able to slow down better than other European countries that are experiencing a much worse crisis today, but the numbers are worrying.

"The National Health Service has held up and today is called to a new test that will require the commitment of all of us", underlined Minister Speranza speaking yesterday at the demonstration organized by the CGIL Sanità in Piazza del Popolo in Rome.

For this reason "Recovery money is welcome, Mes money welcome to health care, as long as it helps us to change gear", he stresses, reiterating that "the goal is to avoid more drastic measures", and this can only be done "by raising further the level of attention ".

In the meantime, the anti-covid measures being studied by the Government aim to limit contagion risk situations as much as possible without, however, a new lockdown.

Sources from the Ministry of Health explain to the Ansa agency that the document circulating in these hours entitled 'Proposals for new urgent measures to contain the infection throughout the national territory' is a fake.

Boccia convenes the control room with the regions for Monday 12

The Minister for Regional Affairs Francesco Boccia called the control room with the regions and local authorities for Monday 12 to take stock with the governors and representatives of the territories on the measures that will enter in the new Dpcm.

The approval of the Prime Minister's decree with the new anti-contagion restrictions from Covid 19 should be postponed to Tuesday.

This is the rough calendar that, in unofficial contacts, the government has given to the regional presidents.
