Al-Sisi: "I do not sell illusions and do not laugh at people."

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi affirmed that he was keen to be frank with the Egyptian people from the first moment in taking over the affairs of the country.

Al-Sisi said that Egypt's historical experience with wars and crises requires awareness of the need to preserve the state.

The Egyptian president added that he was frank with the people from the beginning, saying: "I do not sell illusions and do not laugh at people ... I was frank from the beginning."

"I say the reality, we will succeed thanks to God, we build and build, we do not fight or destroy, we are building in order to help people," Sisi added.

This came during the activities of the 32nd educational symposium of the armed forces, under the title, "October 73 ... a symbol of survival and development," which coincides with the celebrations of the 47th anniversary of the October victories, in the presence of leaders of the armed forces and senior statesmen.

During his speech at the educational seminar, El-Sisi said that the destruction and harm of the state cannot be accepted as the solution.

The Egyptian President added that the budget deficit during the past years and the accumulation of it on the state for a period of 10 and 15 years, entails serious challenges in various fields, such as education, health, housing, infrastructure, and in all different areas.

Al-Sisi added, that the budget deficit entails challenges, and the state becomes unable to meet its demands, and then there are rumors that this is a result of corruption in the state administration, continuing: “We have many challenges, and we can overcome them.”
