"In connection with the increase in the incidence of new coronavirus infection, the Office of Rospotrebnadzor in Moscow has strengthened control over compliance with sanitary and epidemiological safety requirements aimed at preventing the spread of infection," the ministry said in a statement.

It is noted that on Saturday, October 10, the department carried out raids in large shopping centers, offices and cultural facilities.

During the checks, violations were revealed.

The department recalled that for violations of the anti-epidemic regime during the period of the threat of the spread of coronavirus infection, liability is provided in the form of an administrative fine for legal entities in the amount of up to 500 thousand rubles or suspension of activities for up to 90 days.
