  According to reports, Stepanyan, the spokesperson of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, accused Azerbaijan of violating the Naka ceasefire agreement.

Stepanyan posted on social media that the Azerbaijani forces ignored the humanitarian ceasefire that took effect at 12:00 on October 10 and launched an attack minutes after the ceasefire agreement took effect.

  Stepanyan said: "The Armenian Defence Force is taking corresponding measures to stop the attack."

  The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan stated that Armenia has seriously violated the ceasefire agreement reached after the Moscow talks and is taking corresponding response measures.

  According to the Information Bureau of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, “The Armenian side has seriously violated the ceasefire agreement.” The bureau pointed out that the Armenian army was still trying to attack from multiple directions starting at 12 o'clock.

At the same time, many settlements were shelled by the Armenian army.

  Earlier, Armenian Foreign Minister Zograb Mnatsakanyan pointed out that the most important task of the Moscow talks on the Naka issue is to consolidate the ceasefire mechanism.

He said: "The other most important task of these agreements is to consolidate the ceasefire, ensure the mechanism of the ceasefire and prevent these processes from recurring."

  On October 10, the foreign ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia issued a statement saying that Azerbaijan and Armenia reached an agreement on a ceasefire in the Nagorno-Karabakh (Naka) region.

The websites of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the three countries all released the statement.

The statement pointed out that the parties agreed to cease fire in the Naka area from 12:00 on October 10, local time, and exchange prisoners of war and the remains of victims under the coordination of the International Red Cross.

  About two weeks ago, on September 27, the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the Naka region escalated. Both sides accused the other of violating the ceasefire agreement and taking the lead in launching a military offensive, which has caused casualties including civilians.
