The Higher Committee in Charge decided to discuss the mechanism for dealing with developments resulting from the spread of the Corona virus in the Sultanate of Oman, yesterday, to prevent movement, and to close all public places and shops from eight in the evening to five in the morning local time, starting tomorrow, Sunday, October 11, and until Saturday, October 24 .

And according to what was reported by the Oman News Agency, the committee also decided to ban the use of the beaches throughout the day, until further notice, as well as re-closing some activities that were previously reopened and did not comply with the requirements set, and the competent authorities will announce their details at a later time.

The names and photos of the violators will be published in various media outlets.

The Supreme Committee, within the framework of its continuous session headed by Minister of Interior Hammoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, followed the developments of the pandemic, measures to prevent it and ways to limit its spread.

The committee discussed reports related to the increase in the number of injuries and deaths caused by "Covid-19" of all ages, and the sharp increase in the number of patients in hospital wards and intensive care beds, in an unprecedented manner in the history of the health sector in the Sultanate, "and the resulting dangerous situation that exceeds the ability of The health system and its workers are to deal with this pandemic, and other diseases ».

The committee called on everyone, especially youth, to fully adhere to all preventive measures at the individual and collective level, and to stop all family and social gatherings, and the relevant authorities will take all legal measures against the violators.
