A citizen student, in the eighth grade, designed a 3D printing model of a light bulb in the form of outer space, using the (Tinkercad) program, which is a 3D design program that specializes in designing 3D “online” prints.

Student Sarah Saeed Al-Awar said: “The design of the model for me was simple, because I was designing a logo for a company that sells lighting tools, and the light bulb was the first thing that crossed my mind, then I drew it using 3D printing, and although the idea of the project is simple, it is still Unique, and I chose the name (the spark of power) for it, and abbreviated it to (TSP). ”

She pointed out that the project won the second place, and won the silver medal in the competition for the "Citizen Programmer" program, organized by the Emirates Gifted Association and Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, in cooperation with two technology pioneers in the world, namely the cloud computing platform and Signify. Working in the field of Internet of Things.

Al-Awar added that she designed her lamp to be in the shape of space, based on her passion for space, as it expresses a large area to discover many things, in addition to the fact that the UAE is very concerned with the space sector, and has launched several space projects during the last period, adding : "I want to study computer engineering and chemistry to help with research in space science, and I dream of being the first girl to set foot on Mars."
