“Today, Mikhail Khabarov, CEO of Trust Bank, was searched within the framework of the UD, opened at the request of his former partner in the DL company, Alexander Bogatikov,” the lawyer said in a statement.

Slashchev called the case a "trumped-up attempt" to put pressure on Khabarov, forcing him to "refuse to collect from Bogatikov a debt of $ 58 million," which was allegedly awarded to the latter by the London Arbitration Court in January 2020.

As noted, Bogatikov said that Khabarov, as part of a group of people, had stolen 900 million rubles from him.

According to the lawyer, such a statement is unfounded and not supported by any document.

The defense lawyer added that Khabarov is currently summoned for questioning in the UK.
