According to the survey, the coronavirus was not the only reason why travelers chose to travel to Russia.

Some of the respondents answered that although the closure of the borders due to the virus influenced the decision of where to rest, travel around the country was chosen not only because of this.

Thus, 58% of the respondents said that they traveled around Russia because of their love for the country.

17% of the respondents answered that they chose to travel within Russia, since they did not have a visa, and 9%, in principle, cannot travel abroad.

At the same time, 16% chose another option: some noted that they visited their relatives or loved certain regions.

In general, according to the survey, almost every second Russian (44%) managed to get somewhere, and 13% still plan tourist trips by the end of the year.

The survey involved 1.7 thousand respondents.
