The French national team showed its strength in a meeting with its Ukrainian guest and swept it 7-1, as part of the FIFA International Day matches on Wednesday, as part of the teams' preparations for the resumption of the European Football League Championship.

The French team (the 2018 World Cup champion) advanced with an early goal by Eduardo Camavinga in the ninth minute, before Olivier Giroud added the second and third goals in the 24th and 34th minutes.

France's fourth goal came through friendly fire, after Ukraine defender Vitaly Mykolitko scored a counter-goal in the 39th minute, while his teammate, Viktor Tsygankov, reduced the difference by scoring a goal for Ukraine in the 53rd minute.

Soon, the French team returned to control the meeting again, after Corentin Tolisso and Kylian Mbappe scored the fifth and sixth goals in the 65 and 82 minutes, and Antoine Griezmann concluded the seventh in the 89th minute.

France is second in the group with 6 points, on goal difference behind the Portuguese national team, which holds the lead and holds the title of the first edition of the tournament.

On the other hand, Ukraine will play with its hosts Germany and Spain on the 10th and 13th of the same month, respectively, in Group D of the First Division, led by Spain.
