Armenia reported on telephone conversation between Pashinyan and Putin

This was reported by the press service of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers.

Pashinyan congratulated Putin on his birthday, sent warm wishes on this matter and wished him success in "fulfilling the high mission of the head of state."

"The parties also discussed the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, stressing the importance of an early cessation of hostilities," the press service said.

Earlier, the Kremlin reported that Putin discussed the situation in Kyrgyzstan and Karabakh with a number of heads of the CIS countries.

It was also reported in Baku that the presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin had their first conversation since the aggravation of the situation in Karabakh.
