06 October 2020The Roman palaces have been facing the covid emergency for days. After Montecitorio and Palazzo Madama it is now the turn of the Capitol.

The head of the cabinet of the Mayor of Rome Stefano Castiglione tested positive, as he himself confirmed: now even the first citizen Virginia Raggi is putting herself in self-isolation waiting for the result of the swab. From the Capitol, they let it be known that Raggi, in compliance with national guidelines, has consulted her own doctor who has sent her a request for a diagnostic test.

Virginia Raggi went to a public hospital to perform the swab and, as required by law, she will remain in self-isolation pending the outcome of the tests.

However, the mayor will continue to exercise her institutional functions.
