President Moon Jae-in said in a letter written by the son of Lee Mo, a civil servant who was the victim of the murder of a North Korean fishing leader, "I understand the heart of my son who lost his father."



Blue House spokesman Kang Min-seok said that President Moon received a report related to the letter today (6th) and said, "I am also in pain," and "Let's wait for the results of the investigation and search of the Coast Guard.



He also said, "I send my consolation, hoping that I can endure difficulties well with my mother and younger brother."



Kang also added that President Moon plans to write a direct reply to his family.



An official at the Blue House explained that according to the contents disclosed through the media, if the victim's brother sends a letter to the Blue House, President Moon is expected to send a reply to the address.
