The alarm about the fire came just before 04.30.
- It is police officers who pass by who see that there is smoke from a workshop, says rescue leader Christer Lindau at the rescue service Östra Blekinge.
Staff from three stations drove to the workshop.
It burned inside a laundry room.
- There was a great risk of spreading to the roof.
Our goal was to put out the fire and prevent the spread of smoke to the rest of the room, and we succeeded, says Christer Lindau.
Unclear cause
Just before seven o'clock, almost all rescue personnel had been able to leave the scene.
- There is little follow-up left.
Then we hand over to the owner, says Christer Lindau.
It is still unclear why it has started to burn.
Just over eight years ago, it burned in the same room.
- Then it was much more extensive.
Now they can probably be up and running here again soon.
It has been a successful effort, says Christer Lindau.
