- It looks worrying.

On the one hand, the number who test positive increases very quickly.

We have over 200 cases in the past week, says Johan Nöjd, infection control doctor in the Uppsala Region.

- At least as worrying is that the number of hospital admissions is increasing so fast.

We are now up to over 20. All signs are going in the wrong direction now.

Six percent of those who try out turn out to be positive.

Among young adults, who in Uppsala are mainly believed to be students, around ten percent of those sampled are positive.

Closing time for restaurants is discussed

A number of different extra meetings are now held at different levels and between different functions.

The Swedish Public Health Agency is also involved.

- I spoke with Anders Tegnell today and he sees that it is the university cities that are coming back now and it may be time to do something together.

One of the things that is discussed is whether it would be effective to have a deadline for the restaurants to stay open, says Johan Nöjd.

Anders Tegnell pointed out at Tuesday's press conference that student parties were a problem.

- There are quite a lot of student parties going on and in quite a few of them we see a fairly large spread, he said.

At the same time, the outbreak of the law program at Uppsala University has grown from 10 infected to around 15.
