The remarkable level shown by Tottenham during their landslide 6-1 victory over Manchester United last Sunday raised a question about what is lacking for the team to win the English Premier League title, which it has missed for nearly 60 years, especially in light of the new deals concluded by the club.

Tottenham - who last won the league title in the 1960-1961 season and have not won any major titles since their FA Cup in 2008 - regained their Welsh striker Gareth Bale on loan from Real Madrid, and also strengthened his squad by including Sergio Reguilon, Matt Doherty and Pierre - Emil Hoyberg and Carlos Vinicius.

Former Tottenham coach Harry Redknapp confirmed the possibility of the team being crowned the Premier League title, noting that the team coached by Jose Mourinho will pose a threat to any club this season thanks to the squad he currently has, which makes him a true contender for the title.

Redknapp, who led Tottenham from 2008 to 2012, said, "I think Tottenham will enter the semi-finals. He can even win the league this season."

"He has an abundance in all positions; the attack includes Son Heung-min, Harry Kane and Gareth Bale. Look at the depth of the squad, his squad is full of midfielders, and at the defensive level he has two backs on the right and two backs on the left."

"Tottenham is a danger to any team in the league this year," Redknapp said.

Tottenham - who crushed Manchester United 6-1 on Sunday - will return after the international break to face West Ham at home on October 18.
