The British ambassador to Iraq, Stephen Hickey, accepted the challenge from the Iraqi chef residing in Britain, Shaheen, to cook a dish known as the value broth in the Najaf style (relative to the famous Iraqi city of Najaf).

Hickey thanked the Iraqi chef in a tweet on his Twitter page, and said he would cook the value dish this week.

Thank you for the challenge, Chef Shaheen @Mr_Hungryy, God willing, I will cook this week's value.

Chef Shaheen published a video in the section devoted to daily stories on his Facebook page, in which he challenged the British ambassador to cook the value dish in the Najaf style, after the ambassador was able to cook other Iraqi dishes.

The value is considered one of the most important meals cooked in Iraq during the months of Muharram and Safar, especially in Ashura and the fortieth of the killing of Imam Hussein bin Ali - may God be pleased with them - and is distributed free of charge by the people in Iraq.

One of the main ingredients in the "value" is red meat, along with chickpeas and tomato sauce.
