China News Agency, Beijing, October 5 (Reporter Ruan Yulin) Typhoon "Can Hong", the 14th typhoon this year, was generated on October 5 and is now gradually approaching the sea near southwestern Japan.

Meteorological experts said that after the formation of typhoon "Canhong", the path is complicated, and it cannot be ruled out that it will affect China in the later period.

According to the Central Meteorological Observatory, this year’s No. 14 typhoon "Canhong" formed in the Northwest Pacific Ocean at 8 o'clock on October 5, and its center was located on the sea about 1,360 kilometers southeast of Kagoshima, Kyushu, Japan.

It is estimated that "Canhong" will move northward and northwestward at a speed of about 10 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will gradually increase, reaching the strongest typhoon level to strong typhoon level, and gradually tending to the sea near southwestern Japan.

Meteorological experts said that after the formation of typhoon "Canhong", the path is complex and divergent, and it is likely to move westward. It has no impact on China's land before 9 days.

In the later period, under the influence of cold air and subtropical high pressure, "Can Hong" may turn offshore, and it is not ruled out that China will be affected.
