To prevent the risk of drowning due to poor attention, it will now be screenless.

The screen ban therefore applies to everyone, not just parents with children.

It is also a question of the privacy of bathers.

- No one should have to end up in someone else's photo when bathing, says Veronica Bergsten.

"Can feel uncomfortable"

The screen ban applies to mobile phones, tablets, computers and the like and will take effect on Monday 5 October in all Luleå's bathhouses, both in the changing rooms and the swimming pool.

- Even if you do not mean bad by taking pictures of children or friends in the bathhouse, it can feel uncomfortable for others and no one should have to end up in someone else's pictures.

At events such as swimming competitions, the organizing association can apply for an exemption from the ban.
