05 October 2020 Life in prison for Vincenzo Unali, the 60-year-old farmer from Mores accused of killing the man who was courting one of his daughters.
The girl was already linked with a young man from a family with which the breeder had business relations.
The sentence was issued by the Court of Assizes of Sassari.
The murder took place on 15 December 2016. Alessio Ara, a 37-year-old worker, was shot dead in front of the door.
Today the court accepted all the requests of the prosecutor and the lawyers of the civil party.
A provisional payment of 200 thousand euros was also recognized for the victim's mother, Grazietta Pittalis, and 130 thousand euros for her brother, Gian Salvatore Ara.
Vincenzo Unali has always declared himself innocent.
