The case in Linköping where a family was hit by threats and deadly violence after a young man testified against a criminal individual has provoked strong reactions. - It is our damned duty to ensure that the people who testify get the support and protection they need, says the moderates' legal policy spokesman Johan Forsell to SVT News.
The government tells SVT that it does not want to comment on the case, but from the opposition comes demands for increased efforts linked to witness protection.
