The winners of this year's Nobel Prize will be announced sequentially, starting with the Physiological Medicine Award on the 5th.

According to the official website of the Nobel Committee on the 5th local time, the winners of the Physiology Award, the Physics Award on the 6th, the Chemistry Award on the 7th, the Literature Award on the 8th, the Peace Prize on the 9th, and the Economics Award on the 12th will be announced one after another.

In the aftermath of Corona 19, interest in the science award winners was drawn, and Taec-Hwan Hyun, a professor at Seoul National University, who conducted research on the synthesis of nano crystals, is being considered as a candidate for the chemistry award.

Professor Hyun worked with Professor Mounji Barwendi of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Professor Christopher Murray of University of Pennsylvania on the synthesis of nanocrystals for a wide range of applications, including physics, biology and medical systems.

In the Peace Prize category, the World Health Organization (WHO), which leads the fight against Corona 19, is also mentioned as candidates, with the names of the International Press Free Organization, Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and youth environmental activist Greta Thunberg.

The literary award, which sparked controversy when the folk rock legend Bob Dylan was awarded in 2016 is also of interest.

In 2018, the Swedish Academy was involved in a sexual scandal and the award was canceled.

One of the people to be nominated for this year is Jamaican Kinkade, an American female writer, who has written a number of works on colonialism, racism and gender equality.

In addition, several female writers such as Joanne Didion of the United States, Ahn Carson, a Canadian poet, and Hillary Mantel, a British novelist, are nominated, and Peter Nadas, a male writer from Hungary, is one of the leading candidates.

The Nobel Prize ceremony held in Stockholm, Sweden every December will not be held due to the influence of Corona 19 this year.

Instead, a scene where the winners win prizes in their country is broadcast.

It is the first time since 1944 that the Nobel Prize ceremony in Stockholm has been canceled, and the Peace Prize ceremony, which has been held separately in Oslo, Norway, is scheduled to be held on a smaller scale than in previous years.
