North Korea held a meeting of the Political Bureau of the Labor Party, presided over by Chairman Kim Jong-un, and decided to fight the 80-day battle until the end of the year.
The Chosun Central News Agency said that the 19th Political Assembly of the 7th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea was held at the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Party. He said, "We have discussed the question of how to welcome the contest brightly."
The Political Assembly said, "The remaining period until the 8th Congress is the end of this year and the last step in the implementation of the 5-year strategy for national economic development proposed by the 7th Congress. "We emphasized that we should have a gun assault," the communication said.
In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the party, the title of Marshal was awarded to the Vice-Chairman of the Party's Central Military Committee and Chief of Staff Park Jeong-cheon, who was in charge of strategic weapons such as nuclear and missiles.
Chairman Kim Jong-un delivered the'Joint Decision' on the title of Marshal and urged them to "repay the party and the people's great confidence and expectations with high business performance."
