DRC: Tshisekedi traveling to Goma to talk about security and development

Congolese President Félix Tshisekedi has been in Goma since Monday, October 5, where he was received by thousands of activists at the airport.
It has been a long time since this visit was postponed, it was to take place within the framework of a sub-regional summit which should finally take place by video conference.

It is in particular the UDPS, the presidential party, which toured the districts of Goma to mobilize for this visit.

There was also this Tuesday in Goma activists of the UNC who asked with their sign the release of their president Vital Kamerhe, condemned for embezzlement
as part of the 100 days program

In the middle of the afternoon, the presidential plane landed on the tarmac, then the head of state
Félix Tshisekedi
, greeted by the governor of the province, participated in a walkabout.
The first meeting of the day was, according to the presidency, with the three of the governors of the East, that of North Kivu, but also those of South Kivu and Ituri.
The sub-regional summit by videoconference
Security and development issues were on the agenda.
There will be other meetings with the FARDC but also the living forces.
And finally, the mini-summit should be held by video conference with the heads of state of Rwanda, Uganda and even Burundi.
The Congolese Minister of Foreign Affairs was in Bujumbura this Sunday to wrest the agreement of President Ndayishimyie.
It would therefore be done, according to the Congolese party.
Félix Tshisekedi was due to leave on Tuesday.
The summit is finally scheduled for this Wednesday.
