Backhoe loaders, loaders, trucks allow you to move forward as you go, but always very slowly.

"We have the impression of doing chip jumps and we are not moving forward, it will be long."

"A portion of the road has left"

On the way, inhabitants of the open hamlets express their relief.

"It was blocked at the bottom and above, now we can move around, there is no problem", enthuses André, who was not totally spared by the bad weather: "I try to clear my gate because we can't get out. I have walls that have fallen. "

Much further down in the valley, the village of Malaussène is again largely accessible, but there is still much to do.

"There are firefighters who had to come and fill the water tanks because the pipes exploded everywhere," explains Frédéric.

"It's going to be complicated for those who are working a little lower, on Caross, because the access is impossible. There is a large section of road which started a little lower."

Only the station area still needs to be cleared.

Many residents are also worried about the instability of the soil, with the return of rain on Sunday afternoon.
