His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, said, through a tweet on Twitter: “We are looking for new competencies, youth leaders, and elite of the nation, to qualify them within a leadership program that takes into account the new world in which we live and the changes "We have different experiences, and a business environment that can deal with unprecedented global challenges and opportunities."

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development announced the opening of registration for the "Influential Leadership - Fourth Intake" program, which is a development and application program that extends over a whole year, and aims to train 30 leadership cadres in the country to acquire key leadership competencies, as part of an intensive and comprehensive preparation and qualification mechanism. In order for these trained cadres to be part of a young Emirati leadership that oversees the state's governmental and private institutions in various urgent development sectors, and provides their skills, capabilities and leadership experiences the requirements of building the future state, and contributes to consolidating and strengthening the state's position on all indicators of human, economic, technological and knowledge development.

The head of the Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Mohammed Al Gergawi, said: “Designing the influential leadership program, in conjunction with the global changes imposed by the (Covid-19) pandemic, takes into account the importance of creating young Emirati leaders for the new world.”

He pointed out: “The preparation of leaders is an integrated and comprehensive approach, combining theoretical education with the investigation of successful global experiences and the study of the needs of the local reality, and practical experience in the field,” adding: “We must also work on psychological, moral and intellectual preparation, so that the leadership personality is qualified to deal with the rapid changes and confront Various future challenges ».

Al-Gergawi pointed out that the design of the program reflects the objectives of the Mohammed bin Rashid leadership system and the changes imposed by "Covid-19", and is inspired by the vision and thinking of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, regarding the need to empower young and informed Emirati leaders armed with the tools of the future to build future emirates, explaining We seek to prepare a different generation of Emirati leaders for the next 50 years.

The Impactful Leadership Program, designed in cooperation with international institutions and universities, attracts Emirati employees from various entities working in the government and private sectors, as they compete for 30 seats to join the fourth edition of the program, which aims to develop eight basic leadership capabilities among the trainees, namely: strategic foresight and citizenship Universality, entrepreneurial thinking, passion, commitment and value creation, diversity and inclusion, concern for people first, and the development of flexibility and curiosity, which are the main pillars of the Mohammed bin Rashid leadership system.
