Donald Trump's doctors gave this Sunday, October 4, rather reassuring news of the state of health of the American president.

The head of state is better, despite some worrying signals seen since his positive Covid-19 test.

And the medical profession is hopeful that he will be released from the hospital in the next few hours.

The doctors in charge of his treatment communicated new information on his state of health on the morning of Sunday, October 4.

And if a source had given alarming news on Saturday, the medical team was much more reassuring this time.

Trump must have been put on oxygen before his condition improved

Sean Conley, the White House physician spoke, along with other practitioners, from the Walter Reed Institution.

Donald Trump's oxygen level has dropped twice since the onset of symptoms, according to his medical report.

Information that he had deliberately hidden Saturday in order to preserve an "

of the president's state of health.

While doctors had been evasive 24 hours earlier, stating that Donald Trump was not on oxygen without clearly saying if he had been previously, Sean Conley did acknowledge on Sunday that an oxygen supply had was needed Friday for about an hour.

The president's state of health deteriorated before his hospitalization.

I was worried about the potentially rapid progression of the disease.

Doctors hope he will continue his new treatment at the White House

Another doctor, Brian Garibaldi, added on Sunday: “ 

Today he feels great, he is up and active.

Our goal for the day is to get him to eat, drink and keep him out of bed as much as possible, so that he is mobile and continues to feel good.

 " 

In addition to an experimental cocktail developed by the Regeneron company, and an injection of the antiviral Remdesivir, Donald Trump received a third treatment, reveal his doctors: dexamethasone, a corticosteroid effective against severe forms of Covid- 19.

Faced with the improvement of the patient's condition, discharge from the hospital is planned for Monday.

Via videos and messages posted on Twitter, Donald Trump has himself been reassuring and active.

Robert O'Bien, his national security adviser, even described to CBS a president "

Doctor Garibaldi is optimistic: “ 

Our hope is to get him out of the hospital tomorrow (Monday) and that he continue his treatments from the White House.

 Doctors have, however, remained silent on the possible after-effects of Covid-19 in the Republican, 74 years old and candidate for re-election on November 3 against Democrat Joe Biden.
