The British Foreign Secretary remembers Johnson's infection with Corona: I feared we would lose him

British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said that he was concerned about the life of Prime Minister Boris Johnson when Johnson was hospitalized in April after testing positive for "Covid-19".

Raab took over for Johnson for nearly a month, until the prime minister recovered.

Johnson contracted the coronavirus that causes the disease in late March and ended up in the intensive care unit.

"I really feared losing him, and I was worried about Carrie," Raab said in his speech to the Conservative Party conference held online, referring to Johnson's fiancée, who was pregnant and wrapping their baby at the time.

The statements were issued by Raab hours after US President Donald Trump entered a military hospital near Washington because of his infection with the Corona virus.

Johnson had urged the British a few days ago to show discipline and adhere to the new rules announced by the government in order to contain the outbreak of Corona.

Johnson warned that the government could go further if people did not adhere to the measures.
