The Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services stated that it has completed 20 thousand new tests for the emerging kurna virus, through the mobile examination unit, which it launched to serve people of determination and elderly citizens and residents, free of charge, as part of the efforts made to combat the virus.

The Executive Director of the Foundation, Khalifa bin Dray, stated in press statements that the Foundation has provided crews and ambulances to examine the desired cases, indicating that in the event of positive results, the case is immediately transferred to the hospital, to receive the necessary health care.

He stated that the Foundation has equipped six ambulances to provide this service, as they have been converted from a regular ambulance to a "Covid-19" examination vehicle, as the cars were provided with the necessary equipment and devices, such as a thermometer, a case-screening device, in addition to distinguishing The car has the ability to self-sterilize.

Bin Dray stressed that dealing with cases of Corona disease is completely under control, and cases are transferred to hospitals according to the highest standards of safety and prevention for the ambulance crew, in cooperation and coordination with the Control and Control Center and the Dubai Health Authority.

He pointed out that there are 25 cars equipped to transport "Covid-19" patients, which are used as needed, and these cars are distinguished by providing all the protective elements for the ambulance crews, indicating that the emergency personnel of the authority are trained and prepared to deal with cases of patients infected with the Corona virus.

He stated that with the beginning of the Corona pandemic, all plans and scenarios needed to deal with the pandemic had been prepared, and paramedics were trained on all required aspects, including how to receive the patient, transport him, how to deal with him, and ways to wear the suit designated for transporting Corona cases.

Bin Dray said that some government departments and agencies requested the provision of service to their employees, which was met by the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services.

Bin Dray urged speedy reporting of suspected cases, and carrying out the necessary checks to confirm infection or not, stressing the importance of isolating contacts, and conducting the necessary examinations, stressing the importance of not gathering, maintaining physical distancing, and following all precautionary measures recommended by health authorities.
