Sean Conley, the doctor of the White House, assured this Saturday, October 3 that the American president “is doing very well”, that he no longer has a fever and that his symptoms “are reduced”.

But the state of health of Donald Trump, hospitalized because of the coronavirus, is of concern in the United States.

According to a source, the head of state has shown "very worrying" vital signs, and the next few days will be critical.

With just one month of the presidential election, the campaign is frozen in the United States.

On Friday, Donald Trump himself announced that he had tested positive for Covid-19, along with his wife Melania.

And this Saturday, October 3, it is the doctor of the White House who gave the eagerly awaited news of the state of health of the American president, while the latter was admitted Friday evening to the military hospital of Walter Reed, in the suburbs of Washington.

», Assures Donald Trump

“

This morning, the president is doing very well,

 ” reassured Sean Conley.

According to him, the head of state suffered from fever, cough, mild congestion and fatigue.

But her symptoms "

get smaller and better,

" and the fever has subsided in the past 24 hours.

The White House doctor also assured that his patient was not on oxygen, while remaining evasive when journalists asked him if he had been earlier.

A speech reinforced by Donald Trump's messages on Twitter, his favorite communication channel.

“

I'm fine, I think.

Thanks everyone.

Love!

», He tweeted in the night from Friday to Saturday.

And in early Saturday afternoon, shortly after Sean Conley spoke, the president added: “

The doctors, nurses and all the members of the Walter Reed Super Medical Center, and those from other institutions as well. incredible who joined them, are fantastic!

Enormous progress has been made in the past six months to combat this scourge.

With their help, I feel better!

Source claims "the next 48 hours will be critical"

But in the wake of statements from Donald Trump's doctor, a source with knowledge of the president's state of health was much more alarmist.

According to her, the “

vital signs

” of the Republican candidate during the last 24 hours “

have been very worrying

 ”.

“

And the next 48 hours will be critical in terms of care.

We still haven't taken a clear path to recovery,

 ”she added.

Uncertainty has also hovered around Donald Trump's positive test.

Sean Conley spoke of a 72-hour diagnosis, which would push the test back to Wednesday.

However, it was announced that it had been carried out on Thursday.

An inconsistency that the White House has since corrected, confirming that the president is doing well.

Donald Trump received two treatments.

A first experimental cocktail developed by the Regeneron company, which gave promising first results during clinical trials.

Then, he had an injection of the antiviral remdesivir, the first drug authorized against severe forms of Covid-19.

Doctors also believe it to be effective against milder forms.

On the other hand, there was no question of

hydroxychloroquine

, this treatment of which Donald Trump said the greatest good in the spring and

that he said he was taking as a preventive measure

September 26 ceremony targets critics

There is, to this day, no certainty about how the US president was infected.

But according to the

New York Times

, Donald Trump may have contracted Covid-19 during a ceremony at the White House on Saturday, September 26, in honor of the

appointment of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court

.

Some 150 guests were received and none were required to wear a mask or respect social distancing.

Guests could even afford hugs.

All had tested negative before, according to the American press.

A week later, this reception was the subject of all criticism.

It could be the gateway for the Covid-19 to the presidential residence.

The couple Donald and Melania Trump are not the only ones to have tested positive since.

Many guests have also been invited since, including Republican Senator Mike Lee, former advisor to President

Kellyanne Conway

, or John Jenkins, president of the University of Notre Dame.

A list that could well grow in the days to come, according to White House chief of staff Mark Meadows.

If we did not seem to fear the coronavirus a few days ago at the White House, the time is now serious, and the staff are busy trying to identify the origin of the epidemic.
