"The president is doing very well this morning."

So the White House doctor, Sean Conley, in a briefing at the Walter Reed military hospital, where the president is hospitalized for Covid-19.

"We are extremely happy with the progress he has made," added Conley, then giving the floor to colleagues at Walter Reed.

The US president doesn't need oxygen, he breathes and walks regularly, his organs are fine and he's in an exceptionally good mood, added one of the 10 doctors at the military hospital.

His oxygen saturation level is 96 percent, according to medical staff, who said the president hasn't had a fever for 24 hours.

It is not possible to give a timetable for the resignation of the president, there are five days of treatment with remdesivir.

The president, health sources said, told doctors he feels fine: "I feel like I can get out of here today," the medical team reported, quoting his words.
