Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia reported about "stubborn fierce battles" in the northern and southern directions in Nagorno-Karabakh.

As the press secretary of the defense department Shushan Stepanyan clarified, the Armenian units "suppress the advance of the enemy" and also shot down three Azerbaijani planes.

At the same time, the head of the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, Colonel Vagif Dargahli, stated that "not a single combat aircraft of the Azerbaijani Air Force was shot down."
