China News Service, Nursultan, October 2-Kyiv News: The Ukrainian Independent News Agency reported on October 2 that the identity of the US Embassy employee who was suspected of being killed in the attack had been confirmed and was the military liaison officer of the US Embassy in Ukraine.

  On September 30, local time, the US Embassy in Ukraine confirmed the death of a female employee of the embassy.

The Ukrainian police in Kiev subsequently reported that the female employee of the US Embassy was found in a forest park in Kiev by a passer-by who was in a coma due to a serious head injury. She was taken to the hospital and died after treatment.

  According to the "Eurasia Daily" website, witnesses said that the woman was wearing sportswear and headphones at the time of the incident and was running along the train tracks near the forest park.

At present, US investigators have rushed to Ukraine and will investigate the cause of death together with Ukrainian law enforcement officials.

  According to Interfax news agency, Ukrainian police said that law enforcement officers are currently searching for a male suspect who is about 2 meters tall, wearing black shorts, a T-shirt, and dark blue sneakers.

  Previously, Ukrainian media reported that the female employee was probably in an accident due to the fact that she was wearing headphones and did not notice the moving train.

However, officials of the National Security Agency of Ukraine subsequently denied this statement and emphasized that the Ukrainian authorities have not yet conducted an autopsy on the deceased and are still waiting for US investigators to investigate together.

The Presidential Palace of Ukraine issued a statement saying that if the tragedy is proved to be caused by a malicious attack, Ukraine will severely punish the perpetrators.
